I represent businesses, owners and investors in private equity, mergers & acquisitions, general contract, executive employment and commercial matters. Some of my clients are startup ventures, and others are in more mature businesses, often in the technology, real estate, software and real estate industries.
I provide legal advice at each stage of a business, focusing on immediate needs but in the context of longer-term goals.
I don’t negotiate and draft blindly: I seek to understand each side’s motivations, seeking to close transactions with the least amount of pain.
I respond quickly to clients running real-world businesses. I am highly practical and a means to an end, not an obstacle.
I launched my firm in 2008 so that I could provide better business and legal advice for a select group of clients across multiple industries. Although I worked in large law firms and companies for over a decade, I prefer advising small and growing companies, sophisticated investors, and family-owned businesses. I have a strong base of clients, but I am always keen to connect with new ventures – especially those with traction and a readiness to scale quickly.
I have practiced law for over thirty years and handled numerous public and private offerings, financings and hundreds of other business matters. I work to make things happen instead of making them harder.
